I built Istorya around freedom to speak without identity pressure, but I also learned that “anything goes” does not create good conversations. Without boundaries, users who want normal and healthy chats get pushed out by people who abuse anonymity.
What boundaries protect
Boundaries protect conversation quality, emotional safety, and platform trust. If harassment and explicit abuse are tolerated, serious users stop returning. A chat platform only survives when respectful people feel safe enough to stay.
What I expect from users
- Respect the other person’s limits.
- Do not force explicit or harmful topics.
- Leave personal attacks out of conversation.
- Use anonymous freedom responsibly.
